From the north you enter Ashbourne on Buxton Road (A515), follow left into St John's Street (one-way), right into Park Road, right into Sturston Road (traffic lights) and left at the traffic lights into Old Hill (the smaller of the 2 roads to the left).

Old Hill is one-way going south and Conifer Cottage is 100m on the right with convenient street parking.

BY RAIL

The nearest railway station is Derby which is 13 miles away. Transfer by bus/taxi to the bus station and take the Trent Barton bus Swift to Uttoxeter and get off at Ashbourne, King Edward Street, which is 400m from Conifer Cottage. These buses run every hour.

BY BUS

There are buses to/from Derby, Buxton, Burton on Trent, Leek, Matlock/Wirksworth and Peak District villages from King Edward Street.
